Green Peplum top

Bonjour,

Today's outfit of discussion is directly from Paris!! :)  Paris being the fashion capital I had to make sure I was dressed my best. And so I chose my favourite combo of a peplum top with a pencil skirt :)

This top from Mango is the most favourite item in my wardrobe. From the style to the color to the fit, I love everything about the top. The color of the top is a unique emerald green, I have tried looking for outfits in the same color everywhere but in vain. Recently I found another top in the same color and I had to buy it, that top was from Mango as well. Please do let me know if find this color in any other brands or share any outfits you have in the same colour.

Peplum Dress

Hi Everyone,

I am back with a new outfit post today. I wore this outfit for my first wedding anniversary in Geneva, Switzerland :)

I chose a royal blue peplum dress for the occasion. I love both the royal blue colour and the peplum trend :) Peplum is a trend I would never want to go away or even if it does, I am not gonna stop wearing peplums ever. If anyone asks me what is my staple for a stylish outfit, it will always be a pencil skirt or fitted jeans with a peplum top. I so much love it. In case you are not much aware why is it loved so much, I am here to help you :) Lets accept it that how much ever we work out or diet, a flat tummy is hardest to achieve and however fit you are I bet you always feel there is a lot to be lost in the midriff area.

The peplum tops are styled such that they are fitted in the bust area and flare out near the mid riff, that is where exactly we have our fat stored :P As it flares out at that area it covers the tummy fat giving an illusion of a slimmer waist. Wear it with a fitted jeans or a tight skirt and see how your body gets an illusion of an hour glass figure. This is what exactly the dress did for me :)

Sequined skirt

Hi All,

I hope you all had a great weekend :) Mine was nothing special just did some shopping and watched some movies on the lappy.

The outfit I am gonna write about today is a sequined dress which I wore on my first day in Switzerland.

I am wearing a sequined dress as a skirt here :) I was always on a look for a sequined skirt and when I saw this dress I instantly figured out that it would look great as a skirt. When you are wearing anything sequined it becomes the main focus of your entire outfit and hence I have kept everything else very simple. I wore a simple black tshirt and black tights.

As we had visited Switzerland in November, the weather was very cold. I had paired the skirt with black mid calf length boots. I love the combination of short skirts with high boots. The black boots were very comfortable and also were suitable to walk in the snow. I wore my black jacket and had one more layer of red winter jacket for the extra protection against the cold.

Styling Maxi skirts for winters

Hello Beautiful people,

Winter is considered to be boring and dull as in winters, normally one would only think of wearing jeans, jackets and boots. But it need not be the case if you know how to layer up and team up different outfits together to create a cozy yet stylish outfit. You can wear your LBD, a skirt, skater dress or anything you want with a pair of stockings and a Jacket and you are good to go out in the cold weather.

Today's outfit is a maxi skirt with a slit styled to suit the chilly weather. I had worn this outfit  during my visit to Ghent, Belgium.

I am wearing a grey maxi skirt from Zara. It has a high slit in the front. The fit of the skirt is amazing and I feel happy walking around in it. I paired the grey skirt with cream and black top from Mango.

To protect myself from the cold, I wore warm stockings and a black winter coat. The coat I am wearing is from appel's, it has faux fur trim on the hood which makes it feel very cozy. The hood gives protection against the cold winds. The hood is detachable and hence the coat can be worn without the hood on less windier days.

Boot cuff style

Bonjour Fashionistas,

As I have moved to Brussels, I have started dressing up like the europeans as per the saying 'when in rome do as the romans do' :). I have always been fascinated with Boots, I had never even imagined in my dreams that I would move to a colder place and get to live my life in Boots :). I have always loved cold weather and being from the south part of India, never ever have I got to experience a temperature lower than 14 degrees celsius. The temperature in Belgium can go as low as -3 degrees celsius.

Coming to the outfit details. I had worn this outfit on a day it had snowed in Brussels. I am wearing a blue and white striped Jumper with skin fit Jeans. For the protection from the cold weather I am wearing a faux fur collared black Jacket, black fur rimmed hand gloves and black ankle length wedged boots. The jacket I got it from a thrift store, I loved the fitting of it and the way it made me look slimmer. I love fur materials and the feel of it. This jacket has faux fur in the collar and near the wrists.

Coming to the boots!!! AAAhh...my love :D. I bought these boots from Primark Ok, Now they have recently opened a Primark Store here in Brussels and it would be the first ever Primark store in Belgium. Now with the hype Primark has in the United States, it was a crazy sight of the crowds lining in front of Primark to start their shopping for the initial 2 months. I myself have visited Primark already more than four times now :P. I shall do a primark Haul in the upcoming posts. Primark which is known for its low prices has amazing quality stuff and it has become my favourite place to shop in Brussels <3. The boots are suede material, closed toe with hidden wedges. They are very comfortable. I paired the boots with blue and white striped boot cuffs to match my top.

Hi Readers,

I had started blogging in January 2014, but then I could not continue with it as I got busy with my stressful IT job. But fashion has always been my passion and I always was guilty of not pursuing it. In the year 2014, I have travelled the world a lot more and hence have acquired a lot more knowledge of fashion . I have always believed that my fashion sense improved when I started travelling out of India. In the year 2014, I have explored Europe and its fashion culture. I will try to record my experience as much as possible and try continue blogging. The advances in my life in the year 2014 was that I quit my 7 year old job and shifted to Brussels, Belgium. As I quit my job, now I had all the time I need to pursue my passion of Fashion and travelling. Lets see how this goes on and I hope people start enjoying this blog.
