I know I am posting an outfit post after a very long gap. I was on a vacation to Italy and I have lot of outfits to be shared
with you all :) Hope that would make up for the delay :D
I am just starting a series to discuss my outfits in Italy, so this would give an idea on how the place was and what I chose to wear in different locations :)
This first outfit I am going to talk about is what I wore in the beautiful island of Capri, Italy. I was very excited about this island and our whole trip of Italy was planned so that we could visit this island :) So I had packed dresses for the beach, but alas, after reaching there we discovered that Italy had rocky beaches. I had to ditch all my long flowing beach dresses. Not enough research!!
So we had to catch a ferry to reach this island from the place where we stayed, Naples. The weather there was quite hot and hence I chose to wear this knee length pencil skirt and paired it with a simple black top, both from Zara.
The skirt is just perfect with its length and thick material. You can just relax wearing it and is suitable for the windy boat rides and cable rides :)
The top was loose fitted and hence was best suited for the hot weather.
When I reached Capri, the sun was so strong that I had to buy a hat from the usual street shops there. So i bought this beautiful hat. It is not very big, so it could go with any other outfits in the future. The colour was neutral and the bow made it very girly :) It can be folded and can be easily carried around in your purse. I got this hat for 10 euros. I also carried this green jacket in case the weather got colder in the evenings.
I am wearing dark black cat eye sunglasses which I had bought from Primark. I have recently bought a lot of sunglasses and was dying to wear them. But we can hardly see sun in Belgium, so had never got a chance to wear it. I was very happy to be wearing my sunglasses in Italy, ah, it was the perfect weather there :) Never knew I would long for Summer :)
Wherever you plan to visit places in Europe, you have to do a lot of walking so a comfy pair of shoes are a must. So I had bought these basic sneakers from Primark which could go with any outfit I wore.
As my outfit was very casual, I added my favourite chandelier earrings.
On my lips I am wearing my new Urban decay Lipstick I bought from Rome, Italy in the shade 'Catfight'. You can check the review here
