Rimmel London Kate Eyeshadow Stick 101 Deep Amethyst

Hi All,

I am reviewing an eyeshadow stick today. It is from Rimmel London by Kate in the shade 'Deep Amethyst'. It is a gorgeous purple color with a metallic sheen.

What the product claims :-

- Rich intense colour is applied in a flash and lasts up to 24 hours.
- In 4 precious gem-tone shades that rock the eyes.
- Waterproof and smudge-proof formula.

Formulation :-

The eyeshadow has a cream formulation, it is very soft and the color payoff is great. It doesn't tug on the skin and has a metallic shine. As the eyeshadow is creamy, there are no fallouts. They are four gorgeous shades it this range. As it claims, it is smudge proof and good staying power. It also can be used as an eye pencil.

Packaging :-

It comes in a twist up pencil form which needs to be sharpened for precise application. All the product details are written on the body. The packaging is nothing great, just a chubby pencil. But it makes the eyeshadow application easy as we need no brush for the application. You can blend it with your fingers or a brush.

Price tag :-

7 or 8 euros ( forgot the exact price )

Positives :-

  • Great color payoff.
  • No fallouts.
  • No creasing.
  • Smudge proof,
  • Good staying power.
  • Smooth application.

Negatives :-

  • Needs to be sharpened, but no sharpener provided.
  • Pricey.

On me :-

I have lined my lower lash line with the same eyeshadow stick.

My Rating :-

***** ( 5 out 5 )

Love everything about it :)
I use it as an eye pencil more than as an eyeshadow.
