The day was gray, the color of Europe!

Hi Everyone,

It's been awhile that I have posted something, I apologise for that. The weather in Belgium has become crazy! It has been very cold for the last few days and adding to the gloomy weather already it has been raining as well. Hence, I had no mood to get dressed up and go out! Instead, I was lying in bed checking the colourful blogs from other parts of the world where spring has already begun. I am desperately waiting for Summers now.

Coming to my outfit for today's post, I wore this Gray dress for shopping on the weekends. Yes, whatever the weather might be I will still be shopping!! Nothing can stop me from that.. :D

Today's outfit is an all black outfit. You will see me wearing black most of the time. I love black, no one can go wrong with an all black outfit. I wore this outfit last night for an evening date with my beloved :D

As you all know by now, most of the time I plan my outfits around my shoes. I wanted to wear these new gorgeous shoes and so planned to go all black to make the shoes pop. These pumps are from Primark, they are gorgeous blue colored and have a 4 and a half inch heel. They are definitely not comfortable to walk in but they are so gorgeous :D. Well, beauty is pain!!! Sigh!!

This is a very simple outfit I put together the other day for a stroll around the city.

I bought this fresh mint colored top from Mangalore Lifestyle. In addition to its lovely color, the material of the top is very satiny and it feels nice on the skin. It is a long top with these cut work detailing along the hem.

Red Sneakers

How was your weekend? Mine was dull as I was down with fever :( I was sleeping the whole day on Saturday and hence I desperately wanted to be out on Sunday. The weather here in Belgium is changing and it has started  getting warmer. It was 18 degrees yesterday and for Belgium standards, it was quite pleasant :) So I wore this simple outfit to explore the changing weather. As I was still ill, I wanted to keep myself warm, so paired a beige jumper with black jeggings.

This was a simple jumper, but its color and style made me go for it. The golden beige color suits my skin tone very well. The jumper has a high low hem and I love that style very much, it gives  a chic look.

Retro Inspired - Polka dots

Today's post is on retro inspired polka dress outfit. I bought this dress online in India. It is a skater dress with blue and white polka dots. The high neckline, the flare of the dress and the colours give it a very 50's feel. So I decide to style it to suit those times. Lets see how it fared :)

I am wearing a lot of accessories this time. I paired the dress with big pearled necklace, diamond tops, pearl and gold bracelets.

I wore my hair in side swept ponytail, this was the most retroish hairstyle I could think of.

The Little Black Dress

I am back with another outfit post. This time it is the little black dress :)

I wore this outfit while I was visiting Namur, Belgium.

This is a bandage bodycon dress from Mango. With a simple black dress like this you can do so much to dress it up or down depending on the season. As it was winters, I had to keep myself warm and had paired this dress with black stockings.

Military Pants

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. This post is about a fresh outfit I wore this weekend for a trip to Waterloo, Belgium.

I wanted to try styling the military pants and was looking for one for a long time. Last Friday I found it and the very next day took it for a ride :) Military pants look good when paired with neutral colors like black, gray or white. I chose to wear it with my black t shirt.

I wore my long winter coat as it is still cold here. The place was open and was windy like hell. I normally do my research about the places I visit, to check what to wear and what to expect from the place. This time it was a last minute plan and hence had no time for the research:) I  had ditched my hood, assuming it would not be so windy there, but that seemed to be such a bad decision after reaching there. I was freezing with the wind:) The area was open and very windy and the temperature was around six degrees. As I had just returned from India, which was at 25 degrees, I was feeling extremely cold here. So people, research the places you visit in advance to enjoy the place better :)
